Reminders
Reminders is a simple tool to help you keep track of important payroll tasks. Just click the blue bell icon, choose Create Reminder, and set a date and message. When you create a payroll batch, any related reminders will appear, so you can review them before continuing. A number on the bell icon shows how many reminders need your attention, keeping tasks in view until they're done.


You can link specific employees to reminders for tasks you need to perform. For example, if you set a reminder with the text "Terminate" for an employee, this feature will not terminate anyone. It simply serves as a notification to remind you of an action you need to take, such as reviewing a termination.

Examples of when this feature could be useful:
- Future Adjustments: If you've made a temporary wage adjustment this month and need to revert it in the next payroll batch, you can set a reminder to ensure the correct changes are made.
- Employee-Specific Notes: If there are changes that need to be made for a specific employee, such as handling a raise or bonus in a future period, you can tag that employee in your reminder.
- Compliance Deadlines: Set reminders for important deadlines like submitting tax filings or making adjustments for regulatory changes in future payroll cycles.
