Bypass rates for wage batch
Sometimes you may need to bypass an employees rate whilst still allowing for overtime, leave or cashing out leave to still work. This is useful in some cases where an employee is on their last month or is paid up to date, but you need to pay other amounts for the final wage
When an employee rate is bypassed the following features that rely on basic rates will still work
- Over time
- Performance bonus
- Pro rata ENPF
- Cashing out leave
- Leave calculations
- Severance calculations
Bypass rate procedure
- On the "Check Wages" page, click the employee rate (in green) to bypass their rate
Undo bypass rate procedure (re-enable)
- On the "Check Wages" page, click the employee rate (in grey) to re-enable their rate
Bypass rate when editing or creating an employee
- On the "Pay Rate & Type" section when editing or creating employees
